TITLE: Hiring Plumbing/HVAC Dispatcher

REPORTS TO: Office Manager

Essential Duties and Responsibilities of a Dispatcher:

• Manage the dispatch board to ensure technicians are routed efficiently and are arriving on time to scheduled appointments.
• Monitor technician schedules and proactively communicate with customers if arrival times are delayed or adjusted.
• Respond promptly to chats and messages from both customers, technicians, and CSR's ensuring clear and timely communication.
• Schedule commercial maintenance appointments and service jobs, optimizing routes based on technician availability and location.
• Conduct service-related follow-ups to ensure customer satisfaction and completion of work as expected.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date route and sequence data to provide excellent customer service while minimizing travel time and operational costs.
• Adapt to evolving business needs, performing additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Must be goal-oriented, self-starting, and energetic, with a strong sense of urgency and accountability.
• Must be able to collaborate effectively with fellow employees, management, and field technicians to ensure tasks are completed correctly, efficiently
• Must demonstrate strong critical thinking skills, the ability to problem-solve in real-time, and apply practical common sense in daily decision-making.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact professionally with customers and internal team members.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with dispatching and scheduling systems (experience with platforms such as ServiceTitan, ProBook, or similar is a plus).
• Ability to adapt to change quickly, remain calm under pressure, and maintain a positive and professional demeanor at all times.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
