Arrowhead Winch engineers and manufactures industrial winch, hoist and drive systems under the BRADEN, CARCO and Gearmatic brand names in Broken Arrow and Okmulgee, Oklahoma. We are seeking talented individuals to join our Accounting Team in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Sr. Accountant Job Summary:
The Sr. Accountant position reports to the Financial Forecasting Manager and will provide the ideal candidate with the opportunity to demonstrate their ability to work in a fast-paced environment and is responsible for the preparation of financial statements, compliance certificates and assistance with the maintenance of cost accounting standards and bills of materials.
Sr. Accountant Essential Functions / Responsibilities:
- Perform month-end duties and reporting including but not limited to the preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations, and closing financial statements.
- Provide supplemental financial/operational analysis and report data for management and/or external auditors.
- Assist with the maintenance of accurate cost standards, variance analysis, cost applications, and inventory valuation.
- Participate in statistical inventory counts and build station audits.
- Assist with internal control testing, walk through, documentation, and reviews.
- Other duties as assigned.
Sr. Accountant Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
- 3 – 5 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Solid understand of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
Sr. Accountant Preferred Qualifications:
- Mastery of excel and other data analytics tools
- Experience in both public accounting and industry
- Prior experience in manufacturing environment
Sr. Accountant Technical Skills:
- Outstanding written, verbal, problem solving, and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills required with the ability to work independently, handling multiple tasks and changing priorities while meeting non-negotiable deadlines
- Excellent analytical capabilities and attention to detail with a “big picture” focus
- Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office applications (Access, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
