| JOB TITLE: Automation Machine Operator FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt REPORTS TO: Supervisor, Inspection LOCATION: Broken Arrow, OK SHIFT: 7 AM - 3 PM JOB SUMMARY The operator's role is to operate the Automated Inspection Machine for high-volume production at the highest level of efficiency and effectiveness. Responsible for inspecting and sorting rubber parts to ensure compliance with customer specifications. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES - Set up the operation for automated inspection machines.
- Perform all work safely, following all safety procedures.
- Thorough understanding of machine function and operations.
- Perform machine recovery using the troubleshooting guide.
- Perform any in-process operations, such as filling the machine and stopping to troubleshoot when the alarm rings.
- Visually inspect manufactured parts for conformance to specifications for part numbers 5180-3622 and 5180-3623.
- Ability to communicate clearly to the supervisor or technician any issue with the operation of the machines.
- Ability to read and understand English and basic math skills.
- Periodic cleaning and visual inspection of the machine's condition per procedures.
- General housekeeping in and around machine areas.
- Accurate record keeping of daily activities.
- Read and understand the specific work instructions for production activities.
- General understanding of customer requirements and drawings.
OTHER FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES - Interact with other groups to convey information effectively
- Apply logic and reasoning to identify alternative solutions to problems
- Must be able to work overtime as needed
