Intake Specialist – Remote

What You’ll Do as an Intake Specialist

• Receive, interpret, and manage patient referrals to convert them into admissions

• Manage and work the pending list to identify and maximize referral conversion opportunities

• Provide exceptional service to both internal and external customers

• Maintain organized, effective systems of communication to ensure continuity of patient care

• Process referral information accurately in company software in accordance with policy

• Attend virtual and on-site meetings with branches and referral sources as needed

What is Required

• High School Diploma or GED

• 1 year of healthcare experience and knowledge of medical terminology

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and data entry

• Excellent customer service and communication skills

• Associate degree in healthcare preferred

You will report to the Intake Manager.
