The Director of Early Education reports to and works closely with the Executive Director. This role coordinates, supervises, and implements infant through pre-kindergarten services, supporting children, staff, and volunteers at Happy Hands. The Director ensures an educational environment that promotes the development of children and aligns with the ministry’s mission in a Christian atmosphere. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Deaf Education, Special Education, or a related field, with at least 12 semester hours in child development. Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills, including written and ASL proficiency. Ability to meet all director requirements for a 5-Star Child Care Center and accredited early education program within a specified period after hire. Commitment to a church that teaches Jesus Christ as the eternal Son of God, and willingness to complete a statement of faith and personal lifestyle statement.
