Our client, an industry leader in manufacturing, is seeking a Purchasing Clerk to join their team. As a Purchasing Clerk, you will be part of the Office department supporting logistics and procurement operations. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Purchasing Clerk

Location: Pinkard, AL

Pay Range: $16 or DOE

Shift: 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday through Thursday, 7a-11a Friday

What's the Job?

• Research potential vendors and evaluate offers from suppliers
• Interact with suppliers on a day-to-day basis to ensure smooth communication
• Negotiate contract terms and pricing to secure favorable agreements
• Track orders and ensure timely delivery of supplies and materials
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, delivery information, and invoices

What's Needed?

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in purchasing
• Bachelor's degree required
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• ERP knowledge preferred
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
