Our client, a leading manufacturing organization specializing in textile production, is seeking a Loom Operator (Weaver) to join their dedicated team. As a Loom Operator (Weaver), you will be an essential part of the production department supporting operational excellence. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, a proactive attitude, and a strong commitment to safety, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Loom Operator (Weaver)

Location: Ridgeway

Pay Range: $16-$17/hr

Shift: 8-hour shift, no weekends

What's the Job?

  • Safely and efficiently operate and monitor weaving looms in a manufacturing environment
  • Proactively monitor looms for defects and take corrective actions, including restarting looms as needed
  • Replenish yarn supply by replacing empty bobbins with full ones to ensure continuous production
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment
  • Follow instructions and work effectively within a team to meet production goals

What's Needed?

  • Ability to work safely and efficiently in a manufacturing setting
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Ability to follow instructions and learn new tasks quickly
  • Ability to lift and handle objects weighing up to 20lbs
  • Prior experience is a plus, but not required; comprehensive on-the-job training will be provided
