Low Voltage Technician Manager

We are seeking an experienced Low Voltage Technician Manager to lead and grow our low voltage division. This role is responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing field technicians, coordinating with vendors, and maintaining strong client relationships. The ideal candidate is technically strong, operationally disciplined, and confident leading both people and projects.
Key Responsibilities
• Schedule and manage field technicians to ensure efficient deployment and project completion
• Oversee installation, service, and maintenance of low voltage systems (security, access control, CCTV, structured cabling, fire alarm, and related systems)
• Serve as primary point of contact for customers, ensuring clear communication and high satisfaction
• Work closely with vendors and suppliers to manage materials, pricing, and timelines
• Assist with the development of and manage departmental budgets
• Monitor project costs, labor utilization, and overall department performance
• Maintain quality control standards and ensure compliance with applicable codes and safety requirements
• Mentor, and develop technicians and support staff
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and revenue growth
Qualifications
• Strong technical background in low voltage systems installation and troubleshooting
• Proven experience managing technicians or field teams
• Experience working directly with customers in a professional, client-facing capacity
• Strong organizational and scheduling skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively
• Solid understanding of vendor management and procurement processes
• Professional communication skills and the ability to lead by example
