Job Summary: The Manager, Outpatient Clinic will oversee the day-to-day operations of the Laureate Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) and all Outpatient Services. This role ensures efficient and effective office processes and workflows are in place to achieve high quality patient care while adhering to policies and procedures for each clinical area.
Minimum Education: Master's degree in Behavioral Health, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration or related field.
Licensure, Registration and/or Certification: State of Oklahoma licensure as Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) or Licensed Behavioral Professional (LBP).
Work Experience: Minimum 3 years of related experience.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Ability to organize work independently and adjust based on changing priorities. Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills that present clear and concise information. Superior ability to problem-solve and analyze information to make effective decisions and recommendations. Ability to engage, manage, and motivate staff. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and EPIC.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities: Manages clinic to maintain compliance with approved standards and established budget parameters. Hires, evaluates, and counsels personnel according to policies and procedures. Delivers ongoing training/education and program orientation. Manages office operations and promotes optimal use of electronic medical records and department workflows. Drives key outpatient clinical improvement initiatives. Conducts meetings and maintains regular contact with Medical Director, Physicians, Advanced Practice Provider (APP's), Therapists, Patient Services Representative (PSR's), and staff throughout the IOP and OP practices to address patient access and experiences as well as other Provider concerns or issues. Serves as clinic leader in providing all staff education and current information regarding legislative rules and regulations, clinical quality measures, and other initiatives undertaken by Saint Francis Health System (SFHS) and Laureate (LPCH). Monitors and collects area statistical data including quality measures, monthly Provider productivity, and other reports to facility administration. Represents the Outpatient Clinic in various intradepartmental/interdepartmental meetings, task forces, and committees. Fields therapeutic concerns from patients, families, referral sources, and assures timely communications regarding complaints and grievances.
Decision Making: Independent judgment in making decisions involving non-routine problems under general supervision.
Working Relationships: Direct supervision of others. Prepares and gives performance evaluations. Works directly with patients and/or customers. Works with internal and external customers via telephone or face to face interaction. Works with other healthcare professionals and staff. Works frequently with individuals at Director level or above.
