NATURE AND SCOPE:
Reports solid line to facility Value Stream Manager. Leveraging Lean principles; responsible for all items Lean related for growth, capacity, and capability project related activities in support of Solar Broken Arrow and Solar Claremore. May formulate own action plan to meet specific requirements. Work on continuous improvement efforts with primary focus on Lean implementation and 5S+1 principles.

KNOWLEDGE:
Use of standard Six Sigma project management principles, theories and concepts to support execution of Lean and 5S+1 activities. Work towards achieving GoLean Black Belt within one year. Effective communication and solid change management skills will be imperative to success.

PROJECT/PROGRAM RESPONSIBILITY:
Lead, oversee and facilitate key business initiatives in support of Lean priorities through the utilization of the facility Lean Leads, SME’s while working with Supervision and Management alike. Projects within this role’s leadership range in size from small, focused teams to any number of cross-functional teams aligned under Top Priority umbrella projects.

Develop solutions to problems of limited scope and follow up on project assignment. Work is performed without appreciable direction; guidance from the leadership team is based on overall strategic objectives and top priorities.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Assist Operations, Quality, Warehouse/Shipping/Receiving, Maintenance with Lean and 5S+1 related projects.

  • Lead continuous improvement efforts, teams, training throughout the facility.

  • Provide project scheduling and oversight including regular updates to leadership.

  • Perform as the resident Lean expert, providing improvement recommendations.

  • Coach, mentor, train Lean manufacturing with an overall objective of achieving top business priorities while continuously improving the Lean culture.

  • Provide routine updates and regular report-outs to leadership on progress of various projects.

  • May provide guidance or assistance to other Yellow Belt/Green Belt project leads.

Target salary hiring range $76,500 - $88,000

Summary Pay Range:

$76,542.00 - $114,814.00
