Salary: Base + Uncapped Commission (High earning potential)
We have an opening with a local manufacturing operation that’s been in business for decades and is now entering a growth phase—sales have increased by 30% over the last few years. This is a new opportunity in a previously untapped territory in the Southwest U.S. The ideal candidate will have a background in data center IT systems, OEMs, end users, builders, and engineers. Reporting to the Director of Sales & Marketing, this role offers autonomy and impact—no micromanagement here. You’ll be expected to build and execute a sales plan and travel frequently to engage with clients and industry partners.
What You’ll Do:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the data center space
- Build relationships with consulting engineers, OEMs, end-users, and contractors
- Present tailored solutions for infrastructure, services, and technology needs
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop and deliver technical solutions
- Maintain a strong understanding of data center trends and market dynamics
- Travel 50–75% to meet clients, attend events, and drive business development
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of sales experience in data centers, HVAC, or related industries
- Deep understanding of mission-critical infrastructure and hydronic systems
- Established network with general contractors, engineers, and end users
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and strategic thinking skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
