Environmental Health Safety & Sustainability Specialist

Location: Okmulgee, OK
Salary: Based on experience

We’re seeking an experienced EHS&S Specialist to join a dynamic manufacturing team in Okmulgee. This role is ideal for someone passionate about creating a safe, sustainable, and compliant workplace. You’ll work cross-functionally to implement strategies that protect people, the environment, and the community.

What You’ll Do:

• Monitor and interpret environmental, health, and safety regulations
• Conduct internal audits, inspections, and incident investigations
• Deliver training and resources to promote safe practices
• Maintain EHS&S systems, files, and performance data
• Collaborate with contractors, consultants, and regulatory agencies
• Track waste disposal and support zero-waste initiatives
• Participate in safety teams and continuous improvement efforts

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or related field
• 3–5 years of EHS experience in an industrial setting
• Familiarity with EPA, OSHA, and DOT regulations
• Strong skills in incident investigation and EHS auditing
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent communication and organizational skills

Bonus Points For:

• EHS certifications (CHMM, ASP, CSP, CIH, etc.)
• Experience with OSHA Process Safety Management
• Knowledge of environmental permitting (Title V, NPDES, stormwater, TRI)

Schedule:
Full-time, Monday–Friday
Some flexibility may be required based on operational needs
