Job Summary
We are seeking experienced welders with advanced Tig, Flux-core and Mig welding skills on stainless and carbon steel to support our custom‑engineered combustion parts manufacturing operation.
This role specializes in fitting and welding high‑precision stainless and carbon steel assemblies in accordance with Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS), engineering drawings, and strict quality standards.
You will work on complex, engineered-to-order combustion components that require exceptional fit-up, craftsmanship, and adherence to code-quality welds. The ideal candidate is a highly skilled fitter/welder who can operate independently, maintain equipment, uphold HSE standards, and consistently deliver welds that meet post-weld testing criteria.
Schedule/Hours: 4:00 PM - 2:30 AM / Sunday - Thursday (Overtime as needed)
Signing Bonuses Offered!!!
Class A: $4,500
Class B/C: $3,000
Job Qualifications
Pay rate is based off weld test results & years of welding experience. Night Shift Differential is $3 per hour + base.
Class B/C : $25-$29 per hour (Ability to pass 3G plate test in MIG/flux-core only)
Class A: $30+ per hour (Ability to pass 6G all‑TIG on 2 1/2" schedule 160 pipes + 3G plate test)

Job Qualifications
- Specialized welding training and/or 8+ years of advanced welding experience, or equivalent combination of training and skill.
- TIG (GTAW) welding capability on stainless and carbon steel, including 6G all‑TIG on 1/2" schedule 160 pipes (required).
- Strong flux-core (FCAW) proficiency with ability to pass 3G plate test in MIG/flux-core.
- Skilled in at leastthree of the following processes: GMAW, FCAW, SMAW, GTAW, SAW.
- Proven ability to consistently producecode‑quality welds; familiarity with codes such as API, B31.3, UW-51, UW-52, B1.1, STS, etc.
- Must be a skilled fitter with verifiable experience and ability to pass a written fitter test.
- Demonstrated expertise in layout, fit-up, blueprint reading, weld symbols, joint configuration, and tolerances—including mismatch tolerances.
- Ability to use positioners, pinwheels, and a variety of measuring tools.
- Experience in petrochemical, combustion equipment, or engineered-to-order manufacturing is preferred.
- Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Maintain welding equipment, tools, and supplies in safe, proper working order.
- Ability to read and fully understand engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications for custom combustion components.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of fabrication sequences and weld preparation.
- Ability to perform math, including trigonometry and geometry, related to fit-up and layout.
- Effective interpersonal skills for coordinating work with internal teams.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities, work under deadlines, and manage required paperwork.
- Ability to climb stairs, maneuver within shop and fabrication areas, and communicate effectively.
- Physical stamina to stand 8+ hours and operate welding/fabrication equipment.
- Ability to rig, move, and handle heavy loads; capable of lifting/manuvering 70 lbs unassisted.
- Frequent bending, kneeling, standing, and walking.
- Visual acuity and manual dexterity required for precision welding and fit-up.
- Ability to tolerate a fabrication shop environment and safely work around welding operations and industrial equipment.
